Just watched a pirated version of Princess Cyd - I know that's not right but whatever. As a queer teen myself, it gave me the warmest fuzziest feelings inside <3. It's not a masterpiece but it's now my officially favorite movie!

And some days, when I wear flannels or T-shirts, I feel kinda disgusted with myself, like I'm hiding my curves in a giant trash bag and I should go put on some makeup and tie the hem of my shirt. Some other days, though, I'm wearing my feminine stuff and it just feels horrible, like I'm wearing a costume that fits so wrongly in all the wrong places and I am a plastic Barbie doll. I'm sorry for rant about personal life but I just need an outlet and u guys are the best. #queerproblems
Also, my clothing situation is getting bad. I only wear jeans, most of which are ripped. Some days I wear flannels, some days I wear blouses/tanks/femme-y stuff. But most days I don't feel feminine enough to wear a blouse, but I'm running out of flannels/don't feel like wearing one today, so 5 times out of 7 you will see me in a T-shirt. I reallllly want something else I can wear that's tomboy-esque but isn't a T-shirt or a flannel!!!
Okay, I'm commencing venting, watch out Internet.
So I came out to my parents as a lesbian almost a year ago today. It was fine, they've accepted it (although they did pull the "just a phase" thing and send me to a therapist). But I'm still afraid to bring it up with them. I want to get a queercut and wear more flannels, but I'm afraid of criticism and stuff... so my sexuality and expression has become the taboo subject in our house. I feel like I'm still in the closet! :(
