Gaydio is a symptom of everything that's wrong with a lot of LGBT media and campaigning organisations these days.

They rely on advertising and sponsorship from corporations wanting to showcase how cool and inclusive they are (we'll fleece anyone, gay or straight!). Gaydio is full of ads for banks, airlines, even the Israeli government advertises ("visit Tel Aviv Pride!") on there.

Nothing truly radical can come out of a media org that owes its existence to pinkwashing corporations.

Radio Nova is a hidden gem of radio. It's mostly music through the day but it can swerve from obscure early Beatles through Northern Soul, Nigerian hip-hop, Malian music and drum'n'bass. Great little station out of France.

that kind of thinking poisons people into conformity and it's bad and it fucked me up and will fuck up others too if you keep reproducing it.

I'm coming out of hiatus for a few minutes to give yinz a heads up:

To my fellow photosensitive epileptic friends: DO NOT go see the Incredibles 2. Apparently, there's a lot of scenes with strobe lights -- and, from what I understand, one clocks in at about two minutes solid. At no point are there any warnings.

It's hard to believe that, in this day and age, stuff like this is still being made, and without warnings, at that. But here we are.

Anyway, that's all the information I have.
