Hey, all; just want to give a heads up that, with queer.town ending in early April, I've migrated to @WammKD to keep using Masto. So follow me there for further activity, if you happen to like reading my infrequent toots.
the #guile debugger can't show "locals"
That is related to a compiler task left to be done: "basic register allocation" (see here https://wingolog.org/archives/2016/02/04/guile-compiler-tasks )
How many people would be ready to try to collaborate on this and solve the issue ?

job hunting ~ Show more
Something that people don't talk enough about (which I would have found very useful) is that interviews really are supposed to be, somewhat, negotiations. Yeah, the company is asking you questions to see if they want to hire you but you can also ask them questions about whether you want to work there, like what's the nature of the job and what skillset they think'll be necessary. Sorry if this isn't helpful but 'thought I'd mention, just in case.

Is it a call back for an interview? If so, I'd recommend takng it, anyway (like, as just advice in my experience; let me know if giving advice is not helpful, any). Even if you decide not to take the job – in the end –, I found it was he helpful for getting interview practice (which made the whole experience less stressful) and gives you a chance to ask questions like "What will you expect me to do? Will I be running this on my own?"
So I found the function that received the URL and overwrote it to run the URL through youtube-dl to get a stream URL and add that to a playlist buffer for Emacs's music player, #Bongo. It allows me to look up and play music on YouTube all from the comfort of Emacs.
But I think they might be catching on because it's been skipping…
The Gender Census 2019 is now open until 25th March!
It's for anyone whose genders (or lack thereof) aren't described by the M/F binary. It's short and easy, and the results are useful in academia, business, and self-advocacy.

Hmm; first I've heard of. I lived in Mass. for a bit but you probably've been there longer than I was.
My gut reaction is to think that requiring a census to vote would infringe on constitutional voting rights but I'm definitely not a lawyer; and, like you said, seems innocuous. Just first I'd heard of it; I guess it sounds more likely in a city election.
I mean, it'd end to being somewhat redundant, after a while, when the needle keeps showing up well past the "biased" marker on the meter.
I was gonna say, "Can't relate," but I do eat a lot of fruit or fruit juices and those have a lot of Vitamin C so maybe that's part of it.
