I mainly write about daily struggels with being disabled and trying to survive. I'm interested in reading, games, linux, open-source and making the world a bit better.

I love people who try to be soft. I think about it a lot. I used to be an asshole when I was younger, I was sexist and racist, definitely shades of queerphobia (a lot of interalised shame about my own queerness). It was all about being edgy and tired of the world. I remember when I looked what I was saying and doing and went "no, actually, I am a good person, this is not what good people say and do."

I love people who have stared themselves down and gone "No."

Thanks mastodon, seriously. I’m assisting a student who wants their record changed to reflect their chosen gender and the everyday way this is practised here has taught me how to use the language needed to get this done.

I’m better at my job because I’ve been included here.

This is a microcosm of what I'm talking about when it comes to racists and white people.

If racists represent the minority of white people, where are the Good White Folks™ to drown our their voice and mitigate their affects on the country?

If this toxicity represents such a small minority of the Star Wars community, why aren't these platforms doing _anything_ to deal with them?

Somebody is fucking lying. And it aint us.
